Korg Kronos Combi Creation Tutorial

•Create a Layer -Select your program

-Copy from program

-Select effects (iFX Used, MFX, TFX etc.)

-Assign to a Timbre -Repeat for succeeding timbres

•Create a Split -Create a layer -Assign key range in Velocity/Zones Tab

•Create a Velocity Split -Create a layer -Assign Velocity Range in Velocity/Zones Tab

•Save Combi -Select Write Combination In dropdown menu

-Use Rec/Write button to Update Combination as you’re working



•Create a Lead Split

-Select your lead sound in Program Mode

-Go to Combi Mode

-Copy from program

-Select effects (iFX Used, MFX, TFX etc.)

-Assign to a Timbre -Repeat for the Left hand program

-Assign key range in Velocity/Zones Tab by assigning top and bottom notes for each timbre.

-Disable damper for the Lead sound by going to Midi Filter 1 and untick damper.

-Disable Pitch Bend for the Lower sound by going to Pitch Tab and set Pitch Bend from PRG to 0.

-Save Combi
