System Requirements
Kronos 3 (2025): System Version 3.2.1 or later
All other Kronos models: System Version 3.1.3 or later
Kronos 3 Memory Requirements
The Kronos 3 ships with a larger factory Preload.KSC, leaving approximately 73 MB of available sample RAM after startup. This is not enough free memory to load the Ultimate Covers 128 sample library.
Before loading this library, Kronos 3 owners should unload the factory Preload.KSC and instead load only the required factory KSC files. This frees sufficient sample RAM while retaining the factory sounds needed for normal operation.
This is a one-time setup.

Important
This is a PCG takeover library.
Loading this library overwrites most User Program banks. Please back up your existing sounds before loading.
Kronos 3 Owners
The factory U-CC, U-DD, and U-EE Program banks introduced with the Kronos 3 are required by this library.
Loading Ultimate Covers 128 will therefore replace the factory Programs contained in these three banks.
The factory Programs are not permanently lost. They can be restored at any time by reloading the factory PCG or your own backup.
If you wish to keep both the Kronos 3 factory Programs and the Narfsounds library, simply relocate the factory Programs to unused Program banks before loading, as demonstrated in this tutorial:

Narfsounds provides support for loading Kronos libraries exactly as supplied using the included installation guides and tutorials.
Support does not include:
• Reorganizing existing Kronos installations
• Relocating Programs, Combis, Set Lists, Songs, or sample locations
• Resolving Program or bank conflicts with existing user data or third-party libraries
• Integrating Narfsounds libraries into customized Kronos configurations
• Recovering or rebuilding customized Kronos installations
