When performing live as a keyboard player, selecting appropriate sounds to match your songs onstage has to be quick and seamless. Sometimes though, bands prefer to call out songs on the fly which makes it difficult for the keyboardist to properly prepare their sounds beforehand even with the Live Set function. Although situations like that are not ideal if you're particular about getting your sounds right on stage, you can setup your Yamaha Montage or MODX so that you have the most used sounds available on the fly without having to switch between Performances. With the new OS v3 for Montage and v2 for MODX, you can now use the Keyboard Control option instead of the Mute function described in the video when creating scenes.
